How to Turn Off 2-Step Verification

Step-by-Step Procedure for Turning Off 2 Step Verification in Gmail / Google Apps Account

To increase security, Google Apps like Gmail and G Suite will enforce strict policies to ensure high standards of connectivity security are met. However, this has the unfortunate consequence of creating incompatibility with older devices and software. In order to use the feature of our Gmail related tools , you have to enable Less Secure Apps option from your Gmail Account. But if your account has 2-Step Verification turned On for your Gmail, G Suite Account, then this option will not be highlighed. For enabling Less Secure Apss Access option, you first need to TURN OFF 2-Step Verification Option. Follow these steps to Turn Off 2-Step Verification :

Step-1: Login to your Gmail Account

Step-4: As you Scroll down, you can see that 2-Step Verification option is Turned On. Click on it to proceed next.

Step-5: Click on Turn OFF button to disable this option.

Step-6: A new dialog box will appear to confirm your decision. Click TURN OFF to finally disable this option.

Step-7: Now, you can see that Less secure apps access option is available.

Step-8: Click on Turn on Access option to enable Less secure apps access option.
